DNOR Model 212K
The heavy-duty arm system for large and demanding gate installations, with manual keylock release for full control.
- Manual keylock release
- Dual-speed adjustment
- 72-hour backup battery
The 212K is the heavy-duty member of DNOR’s arm series — built for large and demanding installations, handling gate wings up to 3.5 metres and 350kg with adjustable force. Its electro-mechanical screw drive swings a 90° gate open in 9–13 seconds, faster than its lighter siblings.
The K stands for its signature feature: a manual keylock release that gives you full control of the gate whenever you need it. It retrofits into existing gates, and like every DNOR system it keeps working through blackouts on its rechargeable backup battery.
Best for
- Large, heavy or oversized gates up to 350kg per wing
- Bungalows, corner lots and commercial gateways
- Owners who want keylock manual control

Model 212K — common questions
What is the difference between the DNOR 212 and 212K?
The 212K is the heavy-duty version: a stronger motor for heavier gates, a faster 9–13 second travel time (vs 10–15 for the 212), and a manual keylock release. For large or heavy gates, choose the 212K; for typical residential gates the 212 is sufficient. Our full comparison covers it model by model.
How heavy a gate can the 212K handle?
Up to 350kg per wing with a maximum length of 3.5 metres per wing, with force adjustment to match the gate.
Can the 212K be fitted to my existing gate?
Yes — the 212K is designed to retrofit into existing swing gates, which makes it the usual upgrade path when an older or lighter-duty motor is struggling with a heavy gate.
