A residential autogate installation in Malaysia is normally completed in a single visit of a few hours: the technician confirms the survey, mounts the operator, runs the autogate wiring from your power point, fits the safety sensor, pairs the remotes and tests the gate through dozens of cycles before handing over. Step 2: Preparing your gate before installation day

- Hinges. The gate should open and close smoothly without lifting or dragging. Rusted or sagging hinges should be serviced first — an operator forced to work against a dragging gate wears out early.

The photobeam sensor is mounted low across the opening so that a child, a pet or a car bumper in the path stops and reverses the gate. The installer then programs the open and close limits so the leaves stop exactly where they should, and sets the force and speed. Step 6: Remote pairing, keypad and app
